Pourquoi es-tu intéressé par ce projet? / Why are you interested in this project? 

J’ai toujours été intéressé par l’histoire canadienne et l’archéologie. Quand j’ai décidé de retourner à l’école, je voulais étudier quelque chose qui me passionnait. Je crois que cette école de fouille est une bonne opportunité de poursuivre cet intérêt et d’acquérir de l’expérience sur le terrain. Je suis né à Lasalle et ait grandi à Verdun. Ma grand-mère m’amenait parfois au parc George O’Reilly quand j’étais petit.

I have always had an interest in Canadian history and archaeology. When I decided to go back to school I decided to study something I would be interested in and passionate about. I believe this field school represents a great opportunity to pursue both interests and gain valuable field experience. I was also born in Lasalle and spent the first few years of my life in Verdun and my Grandmother would take me to park George O’Reilly as a child.

Avant de retourner à l’école et de faire mon CEGEP et l’université, j’ai fais un DEP (Diplôme d’études professionnelles) en Mécanique automobile au cours duquel j’ai reçu la mention « réussite exceptionnel » pour avoir terminé premier de ma classe. J’ai ensuite travaillé pendant deux ans comme mécanicien dans un garage avant de décider de retourner à l’école dans quelque chose que j’aimais réellement.

Before deciding to back to school (CEGEP and university) I graduated from the West Island Career Center with a DEP in Automobile mechanics where I received the outstanding achievement award for finishing at the top of my class. I then worked as a car mechanic for two years before deciding to return to school to study a subject I was particularly interested in.
